A SPECIAL DAY FOR THOMAS

When Duke tells him he’s taking the Picnic Train and having a day out, Thomas wishes he could have one too.  After a day feeling sorry for himself, he finds the Quarrymen are having a trip to the seaside the following day – and he’s going to be taking them!

THAT'S THE WAY TO DO IT!

When Thomas takes a special excursion train to the seaside, the wind causes trouble for his Driver, Fireman and Bob the Punch and Judy man.  Thomas steps in to help Bob when his tent blows away providing a makeshift stage in his cab.

TERENCE TO THE RESCUE

Percy runs away from the yard after playing another practical joke, and finds that he can’t stop himself as he speeds along the Main Line.  He’s fortunately stopped by a quick thinking signalman and Terence the Tractor who shovels a large pile of soil to act as a buffer for him!

THE REALLY USEFUL TRACTION ENGINE

A group of children come to visit the railway after winning a competition, and the Fat Controller and his engines lay on a special day of events and activities for them to enjoy – including a visit from a very special traction engine, who loves children.

PERCY'S DREAM

When Percy comes to visit Thomas at the junction, Thomas tells him all about how he got his branch line after rescuing James – and Percy wishes he could have his own Branch Line too!

HAROLD THE HELICOPTER

Harold the Helicopter upsets poor Thomas by suggesting that his wings and speed make him better than Thomas.  Harold soon learns that he can’t do everything when he races Thomas to the scene of an emergency.
