VERY SPECIAL ENGINES

When a famous photographer comes to the Island of Sodor to take pictures for a brand new poster, the Fat Controller, the Mayor and the photographer have a difficult time picking a specific photo to represent the Island of Sodor, until they realise one thing that makes it very special indeed!

THOMAS THE FAMOUS ENGINE

Devious Diesel is back in the yard and up to his old tricks – causing trouble for Thomas and Gordon and making them late.  But Duck the Great Western Engine is wise to Diesel’s tricks and decides to take him on with a trick of his own!

THE GOOD OLD DAYS

Duke scolds Thomas when he makes fun of Gordon the Big Engine, and tells him that things like that wouldn’t have happened when he was a young engine.  But when Duke breaks down before pulling the Picnic Train, Thomas helps him pick another engine who will be suitable for the job.

EDWARD SAVES THE DAY

When Henry breaks down, the other engines all try to do his work as well as their own and find it’s not an easy task.  But Edward the Blue Engine knows what to do and how he can be a really helpful engine in Henry’s absence by taking on his friend’s workload.

BEST FRIENDS

Whilst waiting for Henry the Green Engine at the Junction, Thomas and Bertie reminisce about their Great Race!

DONALD AND DOUGLAS

A heavy snowfall comes to the Island of Sodor, which leaves Stepney the Bluebell Engine trapped.  Donald and Douglas the Scottish Twins race to his rescue and bring him home safely, and as a reward for their heroics, are given the remainder of the day off.  But instead of resting, the twins decide to build a snowman instead!
